Overview

Origins
Milne based many of the characters on stuffed animals belonging to his son, Christopher Robin Milne. The real Christopher Robin also inspired the boy who appears throughout the stories.
The Hundred Acre Wood
Pooh’s adventures take place in the Hundred Acre Wood, where he spends time with Christopher Robin, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and other familiar friends.
Books
The character appeared in Winnie-the-Pooh in 1926 and The House at Pooh Corner in 1928. Milne also featured Pooh and his companions in poetry collections for children.
Personality
