    As for my teams on Monday
    It wasn’t a good night
    The Giants lost as usual
    And the Celtics didn’t put up much of a fight
    And now as Halloween approaches
    I must put out my decorative pottery
    And keep my fingers crossed

      And yes I see your both teams fell..’twas definitely not your day.
      But somethings we can’t sit and mourn, and Sports sure fits the bill,
      No matter how we wail and gnash…they tend to lose it still.
      I wish I’d learned to crochet or some other girlie thing..
      Then my time would be taken up by yarn and other string…
      Instead I got enamored with Sports of every kind…
      It’s lead me to a life where there’s a lot of grief to find.
      But it’s too late to turn back now, I know my life is fated
      To root throughout the Seasons for a lot’s that over-rated..
      But Fall is here and as you say the Holidays approach,
      Far be it from me to allow Sports failure to encroach…
      On decorating and the like, your plan sounds good it seems
